T'was the night before Christmas, not a creature was stirring not even a mouse... However, all through the house the Big Dog Riders were helping Santa Claus get ready for delivery of toys from the 40 toys for 40 kids campaign. Exceeding the 40 toys, the Big Dogs had 54 toys for Santa to deliver to the Genesis House. Delighted with joy with the amount of toys to be delivered the Big Dog Riders and Santa could not wait for Christmas morning. So on the last Christmas morning of the 20th century, the Big Dog Riders loaned Santa a sleigh (a green Ford Explorer...) and loaded the sleigh with toys (Thanks Hardcore Dog & Jetkit Dog...).
On this cold Christmas morning, Santa decided to give Rudolph and the other reindeers a day off. So at 8am, Santa hopped on his motorcycle, with the Big Dog Riders following in their sleighs, and rode to the Genesis house. One could not forget the amazement on the kids faces when they saw Santa pull up on his motorcycle, for this was sure to be a special Christmas.
Once arriving, Santa and the Big Dog Riders handed out the presents to the kids and the kids had a chance to talk to Santa, take pictures and sit on Santa's lap. However, there was one special moment that really touched the hearts of all. When Santa gave a present to a little boy, about 6 or 7, the boy came back and said "Thank you for the gift Santa Claus...". Delighted by the smile that the child had on his face when opening the present, the boy said " .... Santa, here is my present to you..." and the boy gave Santa a BIG Hug!!!!
At that very moment, Santa and the Big Dog Riders knew that their mission was complete and cherished the opportunity to put a smile on a childs face.
Many thanks to all who gave toys to the 40 toys to 40 kids campaign at our "Stompin with the Big Dog's" Holiday Jam. Without you, none of this would have been possible. With this in mind, the Big Dog Riders would like to give you a BIG BONE and say Thank You!!!
