Black Men in the Media: Terry Owens
 If it's happening at Baltimore's City Hall, Terry Owens is on top of it. Terry uses his 18 years of broadcast experience to sift through the red tape and produce the kinds of stories that inform our viewers without overwhelming them. Through his many contacts throughout the city, Terry is also able to help drive 2News' weekly public affairs show.
2-The Point is one of the longest running public affairs programs in Baltimore. As host of the show, Terry not only does in studio interviews, but also takes the show on the road. Among the guests he has interviewed in the past years are, Iyanla Vanzant, Maya Angelou, and Kirk Franklin.
Terry joined 2News in 1992. He has worked in Detroit, San Francisco and Los Angeles. He is a graduate of Michigan State University.
