Gerald K. Malcom :
After The Games Are Played

Gerald K. Malcom is an exciting new author, and a provocative poet. The Philadelphia native is a single father in his early 30s, living in Albany, NY, where he is also hard at work on the follow-up to "After The Games Are Played." If you've ever dreamed of a guided tour through a Black man's psyche, be careful what you wish for! In his debut novel, Gerald K. Malcom (that's Malcom with 1 L!) masterfully weaves the hilarious and all-too-human tale of Jordan Styles - the hunky, faithful, newly divorced dad, whose healthy ego belies his honest anxieties about being single for the first time in ten years, and back in "The Game."   [more]

Troy Martin: A New Voice
in Contemporary Fiction

While it's ordinarily believed that many men don't care to read fiction, the increasing popularity in contemporary African-American literature continues to draw even larger numbers of male readers every year.

From the cogent works of E. Lynn Harris, Michael Baisden, Eric Jerome Dickey, and Omar Tyree, black men have discovered novels, which accurately depict their transitions, struggles, and ultimate achievements. Troy Martin has recently stepped into the fiction arena with a very riveting and compelling tale that's sure to spark dialogue among men and women. [More about Troy Martin]

For Immediate Release: ATC Emergency Code 7700

by E.L. Crenshaw (Email: Elk855@aol.com)

Yazid Bin Kadir, charismatic leader of a small terrorist militia group based in southern Lebanon, endeavors to plant a bomb in downtown Israel, and to kidnap Efrem Gamaliel, a government official in the Israeli Knesset. Yazid is captured, along with some of his followers. After being subdued, blindfolded, and forced inside one of Israeli attack helicopters, Yazid utters three words in answer to his captor's taunts: "ihtares te bean adda." Translation: Beware of snakes.

"ATC EMERGENCY CODE 7700 is about a group of aviation professionals and a politician who find themselves in a dangerous situation while on a routine flight," says novelist E.L. Crenshaw. "When the one person trained to handle a highjacking is killed, they reach deep within and devise a daring plan to save themselves and the passengers as they deal with several life-threatening emergencies."
