Adeyemi Bandele
Mr. Adeyemi Bandele is the Co-Founder and Vice President of Brooklyn, New York-based Kente Productions - a private consulting firm that specializes in event planning. Bandele is a Regional Recruiter and Instructor for Lincoln University's Master of Human Services Program. He is also the Founder and Executive Director of "Men On The Move" through which he established the Metro DC Male/Fatherhood Network.
He has been the Director of Operations for Inner Visions Worldwide Network, Inc. and the APEX Museum which is located in Atlanta, Georgia; the Coordinator for Arts in The Atlanta Project in Atlanta, Georgia; and the Executive Director of Arts Exchange in Atlanta, Georgia. During a 2-1/2 year stint as Regional Director of the New York State Martin Luther King, Jr. Institute for Nonviolence in Brooklyn, New York, Bandele, among other things, designed, implemented and coordinated programs and conducted workshops and seminars.
He also served as the Administrative Assistant for New York State Assemblyman Roger L. Green of Brooklyn, New York for a four year period. Prior to working with New York State Assemblyman Roger L. Green, Bandele was the Assistant Director for the East Cultural and Educational Center in Brooklyn, New York - a position he held for 13 years.
An advocate of the arts, grant writer and community and social activist, BANDELE is a host of radio shows on WWRL, WBAI, WLIB, and WMBC.. He is a Founding Member of Atlantans for Democracy in Southern Africa; the National Black United Front and its Vice Chairperson for International Affairs; the Atlanta African Crossroads Festival, a Board Member of the North Star Fund; and the April 4th Coalition Board Member of Atlanta, Georgia's Historic Development Corporation.
He has served as a member of the Cultural Advisory Board for the 1996 Para Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia; and as a Board Member of the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce's Cultural Affairs Board as well as the Community Outreach Sub Committee High Museum in Atlanta, Georgia. Adeyemi Bandele holds a Master of Human Services degree from Lincoln University in Lincoln, Pennsylvania.
