Peter's fencing accomplishments alone qualify him as one of the outstanding sports figures of our time but his achievements off the fencing strip truly set him apart as one the great athlete/statesmen of the modern era. While most athletes of Peter's stature seek to capitalize financially on their fame and recognition Peter has chosen to devote himself to the goal of empowering young people through the sport of fencing.

The Peter Westbrook Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of New York City's youth through the sport of Fencing. The "PWF" was started in 1991 by the legendary Peter Westbrook, winner of the Bronze Medal in Men's Sabre in the 1984 Olympics. Westbrook used the sport of fencing as a way to escape the desperation that was all around him as a child growing up in the projects of Newark, New Jersey.

Today through his foundation he is helping inner-city kids in the five boroughs of New York to realize their own dreams through fencing. During 40 weekly sessions PWF kids will be challenged physically, mentally, and emotionally. Each session involves rigorous conditioning, games of concentration, drills, one on one lessons with Olympic coaches and bouting. These activities are specially designed by Olympic coaches to produce optimal learning in a short amount of time.

By participating in the PWF kids not only learn how to be good winners and good losers, but also how their actions directly influence the results they achieve. They learn to evaluate their attitudes about themselves and others, overcome fears, think strategically and solve problems.

The Peter Westbrook Foundation is quite possibly the most successful and influential program of its kind in the country. Since its inception the PWF has seen hundreds of inner-city kids come through its doors, and has received unprecedented media attention including coverage by , NBC , CBS , CNN , People Magazine , The New York Times , Smithsonian Magazine , The Philadelphia Enquirer, The San Francisco Chronicle, FOX News , NBC News , The Today Show and more.

Milton Bullock: The Golden Platter

You may have witnessed Milton Bullock on stage. You may have heard Milton Bullock on the radio. You might have seen Milton Bullock in a movie. Now experience Milton Bullock Online. From his days turning out chart topping hits as a member of the Platters, to his extensive work with children in the "Do It For The Kids" program, to his work in film, Milton Bullock is a true celebrity.

Currently making his home in the Milwaukee area, his talents are now available to make your engagement an incredibly unique event. There is nothing that equals "Only You" sung by the "Golden Platter" live and up-close... it will take your breath away.

The Platters

The Platters emerged as stars in the late 1950's - selling more records, playing more venues, appearing in more films and romancing more Americans than any other group of its time. Simple melodies, simple lyrics and satin-smooth voices have always been their trademark, and it continues to work to this day. Original member Zola Taylor once said "There's not a group out there that could touch us when we walked out on stage".

The Platters were a phenomenon - the first black group to ever have a number one pop record and the first to cross racial barriers on the concert circuit. The hit "Twilight Time" was the first record of the rock & roll era to feature strings. Just as the Ink Spots had left their impression on the group, so did The Platters influence the next generation of vocalists.

After The Platters disbanded, Milton continued his work in the music and film industry. You may have seen him in roles in such recent films as "Home Alone 2" and "Prelude to a Kiss", among others. Presently, he is performing solo as "The Golden Platter", wowing audiences young and old with his sensational voice. In addition, he produces his internationally famous musical showcase "Back Down Memory Lane".

Do It For The Kids

"Do It For The Kids/Children Foundation" was founded by Milton Bullock in Virginia in 1980, and in the last 20 years it has grown into the award winning youth organization it is today. The focus is on at-risk youth - offering alternatives to kids who don't always have other opportunities. The goal of the Foundation is to provide musical programs and guidance to expose young peope to core-values and spiritual integrity.

Kids are drawn from schools, from state penal systems, and from the street with the promise of allowing them to fulfill their full potential. Mr. Bullock has been able to use his celebrity status, along with friends such as Muhammed Ali and Magic Johnson, to enforce principles of self-respect and self-accountability. The foundation also donates money to the Parkinsons Disease Foundation in Muhammed Ali's honor and to scholarships for at risk kids.

Princeville 2000

Mr. Bullock's birthplace, Princeville, North Carolina along with others, was practically unheard of until the tragedy of Hurricane Floyd that devastated this community. Princeville is the oldest African American Community Settled in 1885. The flood accidentially exposed/revealed that this little township was settled by 'Freed Slaves'who played a major role in creating The Republican Party!

Mr. Bullock will be a featured act performing in a International TV Telethon that will benefit 'Hurricane Floyd' flood victims.
